Welcome to the Cuisine page.

June 2005. For operational reasons the a'la carte menu has been suspended. The range of food in the folders on the left can be used as a guide to the dishes that we now on our enlarged and frequently changed Specials Board. All food is cooked by Ollie Manley and Thomas Marjeram who have both been taught their cooking skills by the outgoing chef-proprietor. The food is excellent, not to mention good value.

On the left there are links to other pages that feature our bar menu, specials board sample menu, the old set price a' la carte menu, breakfast menu, and wine list.

During the high season, from June to September, and during busy Bank Holidays, there may be a delay in serving our main courses due to the amount of orders. We will always try to estimate service times when we are busy and let you know that you haven't been forgotten.

These menu's are placed here in the hope that they will whet your appetite, give you an idea of expenses and what we offer. Please note that despite the quality of fare on offer, all portions are of a significant size and represent a full meal in themselves.

Guests with special dietary needs, such as nut allergies, or dietary preferences, such as vegetarianism, are most welcome, but we would recommend that they contact us in advance to ensure that they are offered as wide choice of meals as possible.

For those readers not using UK English character sets, all prices are in UK Pounds

Our fresh fish comes direct from Looe Fish Market. If we are a bit quieter and 'John the Fish' happens to be at the Inn making a delivery, you can choose your fish straight out of his refrigerated van and have it cooked! A service which we doubt you will find anywhere else.
