Our prices are reviewed every
three
years so this year is year 4 so a bonus year!
Our prices have risen by approximately
10% in 2002. This year we are pleased to have invested £15,000.00 back
into
the Inn to improve the standard of decoration and equipment to the self
catering apartments and decoration to the rear stairs. A further £10,000.00
of improvements were made in early 2003, which included a new roof to Flat 3
over the Inn.
There will be many new improvements during 2005 by the new resident owners.

Flat Type 1 is a one bedroom
flat for two people, consists of bedroom, lounge, bathroom and kitchen.
The settee will convert into a double bed giving accommodation for an extra
two persons - making a total of four persons. Flat 8 does not have a bed-settee.
Flat Type 2 is similar but
with two bedrooms for four people, and the settee - giving accommodation
for six persons.

to other flats, is fully self-contained on it's own level, and consists
of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge / diner and kitchen, two bedrooms
leading off the one side, and master bedroom with private bathroom and
television leading off the other side. This unit will sleep six persons,

top floor, combining Flat 9, and Unit 3. The rooms adjoin via a door in
the lounge of Flat 9, to the hallway in Unit 3.This accommodation is newly
refurbished with new decoration, beds, carpets and suite. Due to the quality
of the carpet, fixtures and fittings, this is a non-smoking apartment.
Bed Linen (for self-catering),
(mattress protector, bottom sheet, top sheet, pillows, pillowcases, duvet
and cover)
may be
hired at £5.00 per person per week. Please bring your own towels.
Electricity for self
catering guests is by £1.00 coin meter at cost price.
Dogs The charge
for dogs is increased during 2005 to £5.00 per dog. This reflects the extra
time required for cleaning the room to our very high standards.
Special March 2004 Offers. We
offer the Winter Break Scheme below, on any day between Monday and Thursday
nights. We also offer a deal where
you book for three nights, and get the last night free of charge. Weekends
in March are already heavily booked, hence the offers don't apply for Friday
to Sunday bookings.
For the thirteenth year
we have pleasure in offering our immensely popular Off Season Break
Scheme. As the Inn has
been so much busier for the last 2 years, the months of availability have
been reduced. We are able to offer these breaks between November
2003 and the end of February 2004 (excluding Christmas, and New Year).
Forward bookings made not more than
one week in advance enjoy the facility of free accommodation, our guests
paying only for breakfast and evening meal.
We will provide a full English
breakfast and four course evening meal from our International a la carte
menu which
specializes in locally caught fish and shellfish but also serving steaks,
chicken and vegetarian food. The cost of a fully inclusive stay is
£39.00 per person per night. Bookings must be for a minimum
of two days and can be any days of the week. Maximum forward booking is
no more than 7 days from your proposed stay. The benefit to the guest
is free accommodation, the benefit to the Inn is filling rooms that would
not normally be booked.
All our food is prepared to
order using the finest local ingredients. All soups and pates are prepared
in our own kitchens and fresh vegetables are used whenever possible.
Our chef Ollie Manley is a local young man, and very talented, who makes
excellent soups, is a good steak chef, and makes interesting 'specials'. His
assistant is Tom Marjeram who is also local and attends catering college
in St Austell.
Our fish menu features many species
of locally caught fresh fish, which is delivered to us fresh from the boat.
Meals are cooked to order using English and French disciplines.
There is the added attraction of
our outstanding Cornish Ales fined on the premises. We are the only
Inn in Cornwall permitted to do this. We also serve Draught Bass,
Scrumpy and also different guest ales from the UK every week.
All rooms are equipped with
direct dial telephones
which incorporate a clock radio and alarm.
There are also mini safes in rooms for the free use of guests on payment of £20.00
returnable deposit.
We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming
you to the Crumplehorn very soon to enable you to sample our hospitality
and food. We are proud to say that most of our guests leave as friends,
returning again and again. |
