Flat 3 received a new roof in
June 2003 to replace rotten roofing timbers that were causing the roof
to sag severely. The main trusses were salvaged and the new roof was covered
with the old local Delabole slates retaining the original character.
As the new roof is felted, and because we added improved insulation, the
flat will be cosier in winter. The internal ceiling was also replaced,
artexed, and the entire flat redecorated. A new lounge suite and double
bed completed this partial refurbishment. |
